Customer reviewsBeautiful wood Horrible to assemble
Beautiful wood slab and smells lovely. Just a beautiful piece of wood. However, keep in mind that you re basically ordering the wood and getting some metal legs that are near impossible to assemble correctly by 1 person. I am even somewhat handy and my desk still wobbles. The reason is - the holes are not pre-drilled. You can tell where you need to drill, but then I drilled too far and it came out the other side of the desk. Not only did I damage the new desk, I also damaged my hardwood floors where I assembled the desk. I kept having to move the legs to figure out how to place them so the desk wouldn t wobble. So, so frustrating. Eventually I gave up and just have a wobbly desk, damaged wood slab, and damaged floor. It s still very beautiful, though. Oh, and one of the legs is loose because I drilled too much and the holes are too big. Basically, this would be an awesome deal if you are very handy and know how to assemble a desk that is not pre-drilled. This means you need to know exactly the right drill bit to use. Otherwise you risk damage. Overall, a decent value for the money. I guess.
