Suzy Homemaker: Beautiful Rug

I bought this exact rug at my local HomeGoods store 7 months ago . I use it in my laundry room in front of the door that leads to our garage. It receives daily heavy traffic and looks the same as the day I bought it I do vacuum it weekly . I liked it so much I thought I would get another for my kitchen in front of our sink. It looks great there This rug is very thin, however, I have a Mohawk thick carpet pad underneath kitchen only . I wanted extra cushion under my feet at the sink. We have a rustic European cottage look with medium color rustic wood floors, white cabinets with black pulls, and stainless steel appliances. This rug matches perfectly with my decor...rug color is a smoky gray with soft white. This rug doesn t have a non-skid backing, so a pad is needed to avoid slipping laundry room has a thin mesh pad under it .
